Το νέο «αγγελάκι» της Victoria`s Secret είναι η Barbara Palvin

H 25χρονη Barbara Palvin από την Ουγγαρία είναι η τελευταία προσθήκη στη βασική ομάδα των αγγέλων της Victoria's Secret, μαζί με supermodels όπως η Adriana Lima και η Karlie Kloss. Η Palvin έχει εμφανιστεί στα εξώφυλλα διεθνών τευχών της Vogue και σε διαφημίσεις Giorgio Armani, ενώ έχει περπατήσει και στην πασαρέλα του οίκου Prada.

Αν και έχει εμπειρία και αναγνωρισιμότητα έδειξε ιδιαίτερα ενθουσιασμένη που απέκτησε επισήμως τον τίτλο. 

"Δεν περίμενα ποτέ να συμβεί και ξεπέρασε τις προσδοκίες μου", έγραψε η Palvin στο Instagram, ανακοινώνοντας τα νέα. "Υπήρχαν φορές που άφησα τις σκέψεις μου να με κρατήσουν πίσω και ήταν δύσκολο να ξεφύγω από αυτές, αλλά η οικογένειά μου, ο Ed και όλοι στη VS ήταν εκεί για να με υποστηρίξουν και να με ανεβάσουν. Είμαι χαρούμενη που εκπροσωπώ την Ουγγαρία και κυρίως όλους εσάς σε αυτό το νέο κεφάλαιο της ζωής μου".

OFFICIALLY A @victoriassecret ANGEL ! I don’t know where to begin but I’ll try : I never thought it would happen and it has exceeded all my expectations. Η Palvin έχει περπατήσει δύο φορές στα shows της Victoria's Secret οπότε ήταν σχετικά ξαφνική η επιλογή της για την κορυφαία ομάδα των μοντέλω της εταιρείας. Κρίνοντας όμως από τη δουλειά της και τα εκατομμύρια χρηστών που την ακολουθούν στο Instagram, ίσως ήταν απλώς θέμα χρόνου.

Unforgettable experience walking the @victoriassecret runway this year! Thank you from the bottom of my heart for this wonderful opportunity, I'm so grateful to have been given this moment after six years since I first walked. Ed Razek, you genuinely are 'The Greatest Showman' along with your incredible team, and I can't tell you how important it was to me to have been given another chance to shine. For years, I didn't believe I would walk another VS runway but once I finally accepted myself and my body, I felt comfortable in my own skin; the magic happened and everything fell right into place. I feel stronger than ever and I'm only going to keep pushing and continue to show the world who I am, and no one can take that away from me. Lucky to have had infinite amounts of love and support from my family, friends, amazing boyfriend and my IMG family - I appreciate you and truly couldn't have done it without you. ♥️
